Medical researchers have been trying to prove which cancer fighting foods are most effective for years. The truth is that while research has proven that some foods help to fight certain types of cancer, there are no known foods that can completely prevent or cure cancer. There are, however, some foods that have been proven to be more helpful than others in the cancer battle.
Following are foods that medical research has proven to be helpful in the prevention and fight against cancer:
Whole Grains
Whole grain foods including whole grain pasta, whole grain bread, brown rice and barley are known to contain powerful antioxidants that are not found in fruits and vegetables. They also contain B vitamins, vitamin E, magnesium, iron and fiber. High fiber diets have proven to be helpful in fighting cancer.
