MAZATLAN, MEXICO
The first time I visited Mazatlan was when I took my mom and my brother on a 7 night cruise, and Mazatlan was one of the ports. Out of the three Mexican cities I visited on that cruise, I really liked Mazatlan because it was the least touristy and I really felt a sense of culture.
In December of 2008, I was in that phase where I was ready to leave the U.S. and escape for a while. I rented a house in the Golden Zone of Mazatlan, in an exclusive gated community called El Cid. I didn't know at the time I reserved the house, but apparently that neighborhood is where many Mexican celebrities live. Once I got there, it wasn't hard to see why. It was a beautiful community. Clean, safe, quiet, and it even had it's own community club with pool, gym, and golf course.

I was fortunate enough to travel to the island of Tahiti, which was one of the places I always wanted to visit. My friends and I rented a private yacht and traveled to several of the islands. We also got to go scuba diving, snorkeling, watch the island dancers, ride bicycles around the islands, and drive around in the open buggy. I even got to see one of my friends do a fire dance, which was a big surprise because I had no idea he could that!
The island was truely a paradise...the simple life. All the fruits were so amazingly sweet and juicy...especially my favorite fruit, the mango! The weather was mostly warm in the 80's, except for a day or two when it rained.
I really enjoyed the tour of the vanilla field. The vanilla plants itself were great to see, but what was more interesting than the tour was getting to see inside of the home of the tour guide. I was both surprised and not surprised at the same time to see posters of popular stars such as Britney Spears (Britney before Kevin) and Eva Longoria hanging on the wall of his teenage son. I guess the teenagers even in Tahiti thought BritneyMy Travels: Qatar

In the summer of 2002, I was fortunate enough to be selected by audition to be a performer in the Army Entertainment. As a performer in the Army Entertainment, I was able to travel to countries such as Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, England, and many more. I stayed in the best hotels in each country, went sightseeing during the day, and not to mention I went shopping as well. Then at night I would listen to music while enjoying dinner at the nicest restaurants and also see what the nightlife of each country had to offer.
