It's a strange life in terms of friendships when you're a Korean living in a village on the banks of the Ganges in India. Friendships here are nothing like what I'd have if I lived in Korea in the East. It has given me a very clear realization that friendship means something different to each person, and most have their own ideas and thoughts about what it should entail, how it should look, and how they engage in it: especially when it crosses into different cultures, like mine often do.
