Wow another great revelation! I have read much about Norway, but never came across this, getting pets for free especially. Who gives away all this stuff? The government?

Recently it was in the news that an Indian couples' babies were taken away, by force, by some child welfare department of the Norwegian govt. I found it really unfair and dictatorial to separate the children from there parents against their will. Now the Indian govt. has intervened in the issue and has pressurized the Norwegian govt. to return the children.

Here is the news article-- http://j.mp/Apl5Wf

Do such cases happen frequently in Norway? I would appreciate if you can put up a post about your views and experiences (if any) with Norway's child protection laws.

Thanks for this article, it was fun to read! Yes, I'd love to see more pics!

Yes, I seen that episode...
Actually gov'nt here protecting children,
I know some reasons why it happened

It was just a conflict between parents how they upbring their child didn't fit the normal way on giving good feeding nutrition same as the other children in Norway. But I havn't got all the info in it.

It seldom happened here. Because govn't give extra money for the mothers just to fix the need of children you know since at birth. The mother and father have a 6 month each as a parental leave as well as receive a pretty good amount of money when you give birth to a child so you can able to sustain the proper needs for the children.

Here they always protect children how you treat them and how you behave as a parent or else they will take the children away from you.

Have a great day.
