oh, I think I know exactly how you must be feeling after i read this post. everybody needs some "me" time, and being able to have full reign of your own home is something any woman would welcome, especially when she has a less than desirable alternative to deal with for the majority of the time. I am happy for you that you had some time to yourself and a breather from the chaos.
If you can't get respect in your own home Kick out the perps. Let them know what it is to suffer. Stop enabling them. They don't mean you any good.
Bide your time for your dream of having an empty nest wilt come true.
