Yea it's tough. Mourning takes a while and it's a healing process. After that I go about living in the moment and enjoying what's coming up next and not to dwell in the past :)
YAh...isn't that ironic... we struggle in life and eventually we just die. All of those years we worked hard to gain all that we have, family friends, material things, memories....well practically everything. Just to end up being buried under..... I guess this is why God doesn't want us to be too attached to all that is of this world. When you get older and the thought of mortality sets in....all your priorities gets narrowed down to one thing.... fear of death. To ignore it would be naive..... it's just a topic most of us don't wan to talk about. But it's there and we just need to accept and be ready for it. (gosh I wish they could discover the"God Gene really soon..LOL). Acceptance is key, grow more in spirit... and just enjoy life as it goes... don't worry too much. Love yah Arlene! ;)

Nice blog Arlene. Funerals are not too bad these days, where we don't feel obligated to shed tears, we can add a bit of humor in describing past antics of the loved ones. Funny highlights of the past. It definitely puts people more at ease.
