Everyone likes to indulge every now and then by eating their favorite snack or a delicacy in a different country. But, before you indulge or over indulge, you may want to think about what food can actually kill you. Potatoes can actually be very deadly. Well, actually, green potatoes can be deadly. Potatoes normally turn green if they have been left in the sun or exposed to too much light. The green indicates that there has been a build-up of toxins, such as Solanine. Solanine is a type of glycoalkaloid which can cause diarrhea, confusion, cramps, headaches, a coma or even death. If your potatoes look to have a green tint to them, you probably don't want to eat them. However, the whole potato isn't bad, you can just cut the green part away and eat the rest of the potato.
