Chillies are excellent source of Vitamin, A, B, C and E with minerals like molybdenum, manganese, folate, potassium, thiamin, and copper. Chilli contains seven times more vitamin C than orange.
Ever since its introduction to India in 1498, chillies have been included in Ayurvedic medicines and used as tonic to ward off many diseases. Chillies are good for slimming down as it burns the calorie easily. Chillies stimulate the appetite, help to clear the lungs, and stimulate digestive system.

Great Post. thanks for sharing. the antioxidants in chilli can destroy cholesterol which causes heart attacks and other major causes. i shall try to use chilli (only green) in my daily meal. thanks Rana Sb for posting.

As a big lover of chili I must say that if you're not going to make it hot with chili peppers why bother eating it. Like Rana says the chili peppers provide many benefits. My favorite chili pepper benefit of all is that it will also help gear up your metabolism for helping with burning fat instead of storing it.
