Many of the most popular cereals for kids are extremely high in their sugar content. In fact, some children's cereals have been found to be 56% sugar, when tested by weight. When interviewed by CBS news, health expert Dr. Andrew Weil that most of the breakfast cereal for children has been found with much higher sugar level than the allowed percentage. It is best, experts say, to allow your kids to add a little sugar and fruit to healthier cereals. This will help instill in them better health habits in the future.
