The Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico is known for its unusual spiral staircase
that is an exceptional work of carpentry. The construction and builder of the staircase
is considered a miracle by the Sisters of Loretto and many who visit it.

That was amazing, Renu!!! Here's a suggestion for you...Put your dollar sign BEFORE the video, or you won't get any credit for it being read....
ok thanks
It is indeed an engineering marvel , how a staircase with two 360 degree spirals can stand on a base without central support.
That is indeed amazing!
yes, an engineering marvel. even engineers cannot explain how it can stand on a small base without a central support. it has two spirals and the railing was added later.
Possibly the carpenter was St. Joseph. There are unusual things or events associated with St. Joseph. I have also a blog about associations with his name. Amazing post renu. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, He most certainly was. I found this on you tube long time back. The staircase is considered an engineering marvel. Even engineers cannot explain how it can stand on a small base without a central support system. It has two complete spirals and the railing was added later.
God is the Great miracle Really such of ..............
yes, civil engineers say it was not possible as the base was not strong to support the staircase.
Beautiful staircase, what a a great work of art. And they thought it was impossible.
What is they say " The impossible I can do, a miracle may take a little longer" This is a miracle.
yes Gloria. Men of science have no answer to work of miracles :)
