Creating a Winning Blog Lesson Two
By A J Morgan aka The Quail 1957
Lesson Two
you’re In lesson one of ‘Creating a Winning Blog’, we touched briefly on the subject of article creation and some of the steps as a writer, you should consider taking before writing the content for your blog.
Let’s recap lesson one before moving forward with lesson two (2), shall we?
1. Research the topic of your choice
2. Write about a popular topic
3. Writing for Quality and not Quantity
4. Writing article around your title
5. Using a key phase similar or the same as your title in the first paragraph of your article
6. Article spinning (duplicate content). Why you shouldn’t do this as well as the long term effects concerning search engine ranking.
So now: you have setup your blog, picked your blog title, researched your article topic and written your very first blog post. Congratulation!
You want others to view your work!

Another great lesson Michael got number 5 by accident but yes now i see how that helps create links to the website. I am going to give the google tool a try. At the risk of sounding really ignorant, i am not a writer or a blogger and am very new to this all, what is a blog directory? Would that be something like Read & Write? I am going on to the next one , really appreciate these posts.
Hello Deborah, Blog directories are very useful in that other blogs can linked back to your blog as well as ping your blog and its contents within the blog to other blog sites by creating back links.
It is quite simple to do. First of all you Google blog directories to see which ones are willing to include blogs into their directory, like Google you send the directory site your blog URL and they include it in their directory, other bloggers like your blog and the article post within it and link to it. this in turn gives your blog a lot of exposure do to the link sharing from outside the community.
Your daily news web site sits outside the FanBox community yet it is still linked to it. This gives your web site as well as FanBox a huge advantage when it comes to increased traffic. Using keyword phrases and tags outside the realm of FanBox search engines and through Google search engines not only increases traffic to your Daily News Site but also to your FanBox site due to interest from all outside sources. :-))
Yes I did see that now when you type in Daily News on FanBox, FanBox comes up also! One good thing, more exposure for FanBox too! Now they also come up in the Daily News. I am starting to see how it all works but very confusing. Thank you for all your help and Advice. I am going to work on this and try it out. Thanks Michael!!!
