I went on a hike with my friend "Carrie" a couple of weeks ago, and shared with her what I was up to with this 4 hour body, and more specifically The SLow Carb Diet. She got really excited when I told her it was possible to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks if she followed it really closely. Excited and skeptical, but she figured she could attempt it for 2 weeks. She's going on a cruise and plans to eat everything so she wanted to lose 10 before the cruise.
My friend is addicted to carbs and loves fast food. Our conversations have been funny and could be inspirational for you if you are on the fence about taking this on yourself, so I thought I share with you  our conversation and what has happened for her....

Carrie:
So I woke up this morning and started cooking my turkey bacon and I thought I just can't do this another day.  I am so, so, so sick of meat and veggies.  So I went upstairs and weighed myself and somehow I have lost 4 pounds since Monday.  I know it is impossible and I can't figure out what is happening but it made me want to stick with the diet!  It was definitely the motivation I needed.  So I went downstairs and choked down that bacon.  Oh what I would give for a nice, delicious bowl of kashi go lean with some cold milk!!
