Thanks Magical - you and I have both lived this as well as teach it. Learning can be frustrating sometimes, but if one keeps trying and won't give up, one day something clicks into place and a light comes on... hey! I understand that! I can do that! And with practice you get better and better.

I think so often we have become used to living in an instant world - microwaves, fast travel, faxes, digital signals that connect the remotest corners of earth a though they were next door ... and we become hard on ourselves, expecting "instant" success. But success is a process that starts with mindset. If we decide to be the best we can be -- on any given day -- then we will ultimately have the blessings of success we want. And we will have enjoyed the smaller successes along the way.

Thanks to you, Magical, and all of you who have commented here, for YOUR heart and soul. That's what's going to put you, and FanBox, on the map. I'm excited to be part of it with you.

Brilliant Post, it definitely changed my perspectives of Fanbox, I was of the opinion that fanbox is only a tool for many to kill time and get paid for playing around too! far from it!

I must say that the concept you bring up of FanBox being paid training is brilliant. I have earned by learning on this site. Before FanBox I had no idea how to embed Youtube videos, or how to read a tag cloud. I have also learned a great deal about SEO optimization, which was also an unknown concept to me before FanBox.
So thank you FanBox, for getting me started on the road to success on FanBox! And Thanks to all the great bloggers who have written "How-To" blogs for us to learn by.

@ Karl Jackson - Thank you Karl, yes you have mentioned some other important skills to be learned here. Video production and embedding is certainly one of the skills that will be in demand for some time to come. Before FanBox I had no idea where to go, or how to proceed with a video production that could be embedded in a blog or website. These skills will make us not only employable, but will give you the leverage to "sell" your services as an independent business person. Let FanBox be your base and act as a long-term investment while you use your skills to become an Entrepreneur and generate your own economy!

@ Star System - you are absolutely correct; I doubt they designed it with this in mind, but FanBox actually follows the Biblical principle in Matthew 13:12 "For whosoever HAS, to him shall be given, and he shall have MORE ABUNDANCE: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has". In FanBox, the more consistent you are in showing up and doing your work, and the more Knowledge Roles you participate in and get good at, the more your CAR Score rises and the more you earn for every activity. Do not be consistent, do not participate or at least try different roles and you find your earnings going low and staying low even when you work very hard when you are here. There are ways to work "smart" in FanBox and they are not hard to find - FanBox does spell it out for us but you have to be paying attention. Once you work "smart" it becomes actually easy and fun to earn here and the more time you're here the better you get and the more you earn.

wow...........Thank you for this long blog. I read and think at the same time...I take long time to finish this post because I am not expert at English. And I did not take free cause to study or improve my English. I improve my English here in fanbox. Everyday I get new vocabularies, sometimes remember sometimes never, but still make my English better day and night bit by bit. It's not easy to be good at English in a short time.
I never worry about taking 90 days to cash out. I just think how can I create post that brings many readers. One of videos said that "you need not to write , you just look for interesting article from google or youtube then copy and paste, so easy and quickly"
you make me laugh a lot : "too lazy to take time to improve = low and no earnings" this sentence makes me think of JC' s post when he said: "your post is very nice.....your post is very nice....your post is very nice..... and he said ....your account will be deleted....your accounted will be deleted...."
hahaha.....

Now this is a well written and structured piece. It would be something that every new person to Fanbox should at least attempt to read once. You not only covered the concept of what Fanbox is - but also how it works and how it pertains to the individual. I like the way that you've touched on not only the pro's but the con's as well, and the need to learn new skill sets that are available through other bloggers on here.
