Investing—Obtain Biblical Counsel

        Monday, March 19, 2012

God admonishes us to obtain counsel. Proverbs 12:15 states, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But a wise man is he who listens to counsel” (nasb), and Proverbs 15:22 states, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”

God recommends that we obtain biblical counsel from a godly investment adviser and God’s Word.

Rarely do we think to seek godly advice in financial matters. It is as important though, as any aspect of the life. maybe more so than anything else, because financial failure can lead to conflicts between spouses, hardship, even divorce. Well explained.

The Bible is the best source and we all should abide in reading it for it is God's word to us and life. There are more than 2000 verses about money in 16 of His 38 parables.
