You Have Inherited A Fortune!

 

Yesterday, you learned you have a blood-covenant and inheritance.  Ken, in our story was an American Indian and understood very well what a blood-covenant means.  But maybe you don't.  So I'm going into more detail so that you will see more clearly what is available to you as a blood-cvenant partner with Jesus Christ.


Today in "modern" society, we are not very aware of or conscious of covenants -- at least not like our ancestors were.  Particularly blood covenants.  We understand contracts.  But contracts are limited term and limited time agreements.  A covenant is a solemn oath, all inclusive and exited only by death.  Marriage is actually a covenant, "til death do us part', although modern society is redefining it as a contract.

Formerly, among all trives of people and all civilizations, there was the common practice of covenants ratified by blood.  These blood covenants were a matter of totally giving oneself to another for life -- no conditions, no reservations relieving the commitment.  This meant complete loyalty.  What's more, once a blood covenant was cut between two individuals or families, that covenant was meant to last forever.

Today, many believers who enter into the covenant relationship with Jesus Christ have no idea of what they've done.  They have no idea what they've gained.  They have no real understanding of the eternal promises ratified in the precious blood of Jesus.

Let's give you a short course in Blood-Covenants:

The motive behind blood covenants was, quite simply, differences.  Covenants were based on the strengths and weaknesses of the parties involved.  For instance, one family or tribe might be
