Bidar is a place situated on the northwest corner of Karnataka in India. It is not well known place but a little gem which many of the traveler use to ignore and many of them don’t know about this place. According to history this town was the capital of the Bahmani kingdom and afterwards it is soaked to the capital of Barid Shahi dynasty.
There is a Fort called as Bidar Fort in this city. It has been originally built in 8th century. In history it is said that the fort was established in 977AD by the kingdom of Chalukyas in the South and their capital was Kalyani but later on it was gone in the hands of the Yadavas of Devagiri and in 1322 in the hands of Kalyanas of Warangal.
