Chart of Acid / Alkaline Forming Foods
Your body pH affects everything...
Balancing the pH is a major step toward well-being and greater health.You can use the food chart for pH reference.

The pH scale is from   0 - 14

Human blood pH should be slightly alkaline ( 7.35 - 7.45 ).  Below or above this range means symptoms and disease.  A pH of 7.0 is neutral.  A pH below 7.0 is acidic.  A pH above 7.0 is alkaline.

An acidic pH can occur from, an acid forming diet, emotional stress, toxic overload, and/or immune reactions or any process that deprives the cells of oxygen and other nutrients.  The body will try to compensate for acidic pH by using alkaline minerals.  If the diet does not contain enough minerals to compensate, a build up of acids in the cells will occur.

Hi Pierre! This is fantastic. I have been doing some research since I read your other post on the pH of our bodies. Fascinating subject and one I believe everyone should know about. Such important information. I'm sure I'll be back more than once. :)

Ma. Cianela Ast , This chart is to help you balance your Ph or send it higher or lower. Water Ph is at 7.0 The lower the number, the higher the acid in the water. IF you had water at a ph of 5.5 for exemple, your body your be more subject to be sick. You would then eat food with a higher level of alkalinity. Alkaline food kills bacteria and viruses and will eliminate most diseases since we eat food that is acidic. Cancer also is cured with intake of food with a alkaline level higher than 7.82. It stops developing at 7.3 Ph. You don't want to drink alkaline water during a meal. You want to not affect the acidity of your stomach for digestion. Take water an hour before or after a meal. So it doesn't interfere with digesting. It would give you gas. Sodium bicabonate is great to make your own alkaline water for therapy. I hope you understand what the chart is for now.
