I missed the webinar, Gerry, and I was pretty much sure that you must have written something about it. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, I still have a question for you. In one of your comments I noticed that you were talking about some software, "... everyone was having problem downloading... ". What software was it, Gerry? I'm simply pleasantly curious!

I have missed too... but I am regulary come to the post with hope to hear some gossips and news concerning FanBox.. seems, they are going to do many things with coaching. They are creating more and more duties for coaches.. reports..goals..lists..questions... Seems, they forgot that FB coaching is not a job and we all have other interests and obligations. As a result of this innovations I have lost my coach CAZ.. . and who is next? He gave up coaching. and maybe he was right. I like to help people, but I dont like to be under pressure .. money? you cant buy even a second for your short life.

Hi Rosetta, FanBox uses Go To Meeting (Citrex) for their webinars. When you click the link they provide it downloads the share to you -- for some people that was not working.

Also, no one was able to interact and speak and ask questions. There was a very brief request for questions at the end, but only one question was answered... "Do you have to be a Success Coach to earn here." Mr. Cash answered no and he stated during the webinar that FanBox doesn't want to be one of those companies that makes it so only the top people earn - however it seemed to me and many other people, the entire webinar was focused on doing just that for about 20% of the Success Coaches.

I will put up more of what was said, but I wanted some of the community members to have a chance to weigh in before I write my own pros and/or cons. Look forward to your taking part!

I don't know if they'll schedule a replay of the Webinar Ismay. It's a shame so many people missed it. My own SC is from India and it was like 4:am for him and he missed it. I know the points were not exact wording ... but what do you think from what was there? Have you thought of which "Role" or roles you plan to capitalize on at FanBox? Are you planning to try for SC? How important do you think working out a strategy is now to success as FanBox grows and expands? How important is faith and mindset going to be? Do you feel ready to move forward?

Lana is right, the SC's are under great pressure. Now that that's been decided that only the top 20% qualify for the benefits .. I wonder how the 80% who work as hard, feel about this. Can't wait for the unavailing of the 20% :-)

Addendum to Lana: You got me. I'm sorry - we got so much going with Cat & Rate and then I got sick for a few days and wasn't much good for anything, though I did try to keep up my series posting. I'm going back over all the posts and will tie up some loose ends.

@ Robert - actually that's a great attitude. As a Teacher I like to frame things in overall patterns and trends ... but you are on the money - by paying attention to good form, good technique you are going to build online earnings. Thumbs up, man!

Awesome article Gerry! Yes I was at the meeting also and your notes of course are your own. :-)) I felt you did an excellent job of it. I myself am a success coach as many of you know and I do truly believe that each of us has it in themselves to be the very best that they can be.

True, with all the new changes, restrictions and rapid fire changes within the Success Coaching Training Program, it can be a daunting task for those that do not have the required time to spend continuously training and honing the skills needed to be the very best SC'S that one can be.

Others will not want to work as hard for their earnings and decide that they can earn better through a different medium within the FanBox Community. Take the new application, Products & Services, I personally believe that those filling and supplying the demands for the products and services will stand a far better chance of earning. Why? Because they set the price them selves they want for their wares.:-))

So when it comes to the top 20% of success coaches, I ask as a businessman myself. Who would you rather have handling you ads for you? The very best of the best? or The mediocre?

Thanks Michael. Awesome input. Well my notes were not as neat as I would have liked... and I tried to bare bones it because I really want to get the members talking about this and understanding it.

We all know a LOT of people are upset at the low earnings since the first of the year and there is a good bit of mistrust. I want those people to know they are being heard, to understand how important strategy is (as you pointed out in your own excellent post responding to the low earnings complaints) and to realize they need to be making some choices now.

We all know I was removed as an SC - not because of my work but because of complaints from someone in FanBox that were unfounded - nevertheless no one wanted the drama. I've worked a lot of places and run websites myself. It's no secret I felt it was unfair and mishandled -- but I had a choice; take my lemon and make lemonade or pack it up. It's been difficult, but I love FanBox. I love the people, the vision. I believe in that Vision. It was my own before I even came here. So, I have chosen to empower and encourage myself -- and everyone here can do that.

FanBox is an OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity is not job security or guarantees. Its potential. And FanBox has created that. Whatever you think -- you can take these roles and if you will test and experiment and work it you will find the earnings. I believe in us.

Michael's right. The cream will always rise to the top. You may become one of those 20%. For most of you that is OPPORTUNITY potential. I am choosing to do what I love - Teach. And produce. Maybe promote and later Invest. Where one is determined I believe one makes their success.

It doesn't mean there is not things wrong that need to be changed. That goes with anything. It just means maybe there is a way to get what you want - by giving others what they want. Creating a win - win. We have always supported one another here. The worst thing that could happen is if this model becomes a kind of class division in FanBox. I don't think that has to happen and it won't if we use discussions like this to make everyone knowlegable about what's happening and what their choices are.

finally, a post about the webinar. thanks, Gerry for coming up with this:-) i still am waiting for further notes from J.C though(..perhaps upload a recording of the webinar so that those who missed it might be able to listen to it any time). you did a great job, nonetheless. I sense a great opportunity here at fanbox but am still way behind and really have to learn more to reach my goal. again, thanks for sharing. i'll be coming be to check for more updates once in a while.

Ruth, I've noticed you around the community and your postings are always positive, encouraging and mindful - you really read and contribute and it's always a treat to read you because you have something to say!

Thank you for joining our discussion here. You never know whose life your example and encouragement will change. I believe the future is bright and there are wonderful coaches like Michael, Glenway is another... who are very dedicated. Others are teachers like me. We are all here to help ourselves, yes, but we also know that if we help others, we fulfill ourselves and lift us all.

I believe many of you will make great Success Coaches. But also there are great bloggers here, there are people who just seem to "know" how to promote and there are others who have that "knack" for picking the right person or product that with a little backing will take off - they earn by picking or Boosting winners.

There's something for everyone here. And each role has it's own approach. There are going to be some people here who can do it all.

But you know where that starts? When I came here I earned .79 for Cat & Rating and that was a good day! Patience, learning the different roles - letting my CAR score build with time... the Bible says don't despise small beginnings.

Maybe you're not earning like you want to be - then set your sights high and don't take your eye off the prize. We'll all get there. In different ways. The most important thing is that we use this community to get there together, and celebrating each others successes.

Negativity is too easy. I fall prey to it as you do. Let our struggle be to always bring ourselves back to the center. Why are we here? I'm here for you. You're here for me. Anything more than that is reason for gratitude and a spur to keep us going.

Creative Moment - Thank you for your kind words. Yes, we'll continue updating this - we'll talk some more about Cat & Rating (important for those of you who want to be advertising and funding your ads for greater returns, but don't have or don't want to use your own outside money for that). I have misplaced my link to Michael's great post on that -- if I can find it I'll put it in here, everyone should read that.... there's more to getting great earnings on Cat & Rating than the three direct activities involved in Cat & Rating and Michael presents it better than anyone I've seen.

I believe in you CM - that "sense of great opportunity" is your barometer of success. I and the other teachers here will show you the skills and strategies you'll need, and you'll practice and get better day by day - but it's your mindset and courage to apply your faith in yourself and in the process that will determine if you're the one on top one day pulling others up to where you are. Go for it! We'll support you all the way. If you have any questions - Ask. If I don't know, I'll find out for you. Take my knowledge in my various blogs and posts -- and those of Michael and those on the top Leaderboard. You know they got on those Leaderboards for a reason. Find out what they know and make it yours.

I will keep updating and teaching - it's what I love to do. And I'll clap the loudest when you are on top!

hi gerry! How are you? Longtime no communition! Its really interesting to read your post. But due to some problem, i rarely touch fanbox this day. There are so many news to earn more money. But i am not a teacher nor succes coach. I am not very expert also. Anyway let me try my level best.

Are you kidding me? You have great stuff! I know you've had some health problems - bronchitis is never easy! - and when you get off your stride, it's sometimes really hard to find that rhythm again, but I know you can do this! You've always been very supportive of me and others - apply some of that to yourself now. As far as needing work in some areas, we all do. No one feels completely confident in everything - but that's the great thing about faith, isn't it? Especially where we're weak, we have Someone to learn on Who WILL get us through.

For Promotion - do you mean with regular ads or promoting Products and Services in Provider or getting your Blogs noticed? Perhaps I and some of the others here can give you some specifics to try. What seems to be stumping you the most?

I'm sorry to hear that. You are and will be in my prayers - I know you worked hard at FanBox. You know what? Many people are not Teachers or Success Coaches .... and they don't want to be!

You CAN still earn at FanBox. I'll tell you a secret - you need to combine a few things along with your Cat & Rating activity to make your score raise - I can help show that to you. I can teach you just what is required. Then when you have just a few dollars - let's say $5 in ad credits built up, I'll show you how to write a good ad. It takes knowing your readers and what they want, but you can do that.

Do you want to work with me and try again? You know what success is, hon? It's not giving up too soon. It's getting up one more time than the times you fall. It's saying if it didn't work this way, I'll try it that way.

You can earn it. I am sure of that. I'm here for you.

I also missed the webinar as the time is too early for me too lolz.
From your notes, it appears that to earn more money we need to be a success coach that what I cannot be so far.. means I am not the one who will earn more money..
The good thing is as ads is allowed from outside, there will be more resources and more money too and that automatically let you earn more money..
About making ads you are discussing with Laldawngliana, I need to know your secret if you allowed me to know.

No, no, no Jake - not at all. EVERYONE will be able to earn more. That is the fantastic thing. But as you all know it is not an automatic thing. Have you noticed the really low earnings around FanBox? I know you have, because everybody has noticed and we've even discussed it here in the Ask Gerry series. .... Yet, go check out Just Jeff. Just Jeff has been making around $114 average A DAY through all this period. How'd he do it? NOPE - it wasn't through Success Coaching. It was through ads. Jeff has had a good number of ads that he's run for some time and he works those ads. He's a great PROMOTER. He's making more than most of the Top Success coaches.

Success here will not belong to any one role. We honor our Teacher and Coaches - absolutely. They work hard and they teach what you need to know to succeed and work for your success. They deserve that honor and better earnings than they get in outside society. They will get that here at FanBox. BUT,

We have other roles that have the potential for Big Earnings. And that is where I'm placing my focus. Don't misunderstand that FanBox or I are saying if you are not a Success Coach you can't earn.

But most of you the training that I've seen emphasizes the track to SC. I know when I was an SC nearly everything I did was geared to getting people to "graduate" and become SC's themselves. That's a worth goal and if you love to teach great, we can put you on that track and give you the shot.

But some people are writers, promoters, marketers, investors -- it takes us all and I want to help those people who like you, think they can't earn here unless they fit 1 mold. That's simply not true and Jeff has been proving it.

My dream student? Will be a SC-Teach-Produce-Promo-Provi-Investing SUCCESS! Maybe that student is you!

You don't like the new changes? Okay... let's talk about it. What don't you like and maybe we can figure a way to make that work better for you - or find a way you may not have thought of to make it more like old FanBox - where there is determination I believe we can create. I believe God gives us that ability but we have to be open to it and sometimes we have to look to find it.

So what is something specific you would like to see changed or the old way?

As always you have been a very strong believer and follower of FanBox, just like me Gerry. We have to be very patient and understanding if we want to be successful in FanBox. Yes, I agree with you, not everybody can be an effective coach. One must have that time, passion and determination to help and assist members to be successful. For a growing company, we will have lots of glitches and bugs to deal with, and I hope and pray that FanBox would be able to surpass all these challenges, likewise be transparent to the membership. Thanks for sharing these, for I was not able to attend the webinar.

@ Esbee - I'm glad you are trying and trying - because success ANYWHERE online, doing ANYTHING online requires some persistence. I'm here to help. What is giving you the most problem understanding right now?

I attended the webinar ..i was so excited..it was late night (early morning actually in India) I tried my best to memories all what Jc explained but all i could do just capture the snap of last slide which was there for long..
you have mentioned all the points and that Jc was discussing I think.., honestly in text form it can reach to many people as ..you know the different accent problem of language..
I don't see the peak i set targets in segments and then try to achieve that then next ...so am not dreaming of HSC :) but I would like see HSC from users.. not someone appears from sky..I mean outsider as Jc indicated about one businessman..offered them some deal and they denied.Anyway nice post ..I can see that green tag missing from your profile ..i liked that ..that gave an impression of someone official with that official badge.:)
it was my first time to attend such events..I am thinking why not many big educational institutions do that...We have distance education programs , online programs but they don't work in that way..they still relying on emails and web content..That webinar experience was like real not that expensive setups required..at least from user's side..In this way anyone in any part of the world can learn the anything in real time just like a real class room..I liked that aspect so much..NO barrier in sharing and learning knowledge.

Arun - what a wonderful share! Thank you very much. I agree with you - making targeted steps and keeping your eye on moving from level to level is a big key to ultimate success.

And that was a very interesting insight about the Venture Capitalist wasn't it? I hope everyone will get a chance to hear that; I am a businessman and I know that sort of thing happens every day - the tempations to let go of your idea (which is like your baby if you're really involved with it) because all small start ups from the shoestring lone entrepreneur to the small business group has a really tough time at first keeping the thing going while the bugs are worked out and all the components needed are set in place. That infusion of cash can be mighty tempting but then - it's not your dream anymore, not your baby. So I admire that too that they believed in themselves and the company enough to refuse that.

You sound like you have both feet on the ground and your heart and your dream has no limits. Those are the ingredients for big success and I wish you the very best here!
