I think this one is not going away Gerry. :)
I've decided to make a few changes......... not sure if this is assisting me with my own CAR score but ... I've decided, after hearing about being careful not to give too low a score, to only rate on posts I feel I can give a 7 or more score to. Plenty of these I will still give a 9 or even 10 to for some tag words. There's been some in the past where I've given a low score to......... maybe not because it was a 'bad' post but because others were producing far superior ones. I know everyone here has different abilities in writing and many have been writing in English.... not their native language. This has to make a difference even if only small. It it's not really fair so I'm glad we now have different languages available for people. :) Some of the ones I would give a lower score for I still enjoy reading. So it's difficult. And I now only add 2 or 3 tags. ... not 4,5 or 6 like before.
But I too have noticed a huge drop off in what people are now earning doing CAR. They can't all have stopped doing it or now do almost none. So is it that the rate at which we get paid has changed?

Yes it is still a mystery. I thought it was just my earnings. My earnings has drop and I can see the earnings of others has drop as well. I also see that many here on fanbox are still getting paid well doing CR. So this is still a mystery to me as of now and what is going on.

The same was also my concern till now. Sometimes for being alone, reading other related posts on C&R is my only reference but as time goes by doing C&R it seemed I can not grasp the proper way of doing it. I have tried giving high scores, and even low scores depending on the substance and quality of the post, even reached to an average of 25 posts to categorize and rate but I had never reached a dollar for my my gain. Now using the Genie, its my 5th day today. I am doing a trial-and-error C&R in a weekly basis, and I am beating a low goal of not lesser than 1000 points per session, and this takes an average of 12posts. My basis in Categorizing is "What is this post primarily about" and in Rating, "How strongly would you recommend this post to a friend searching for ______?". When it comes to this English subject, I know and am sure I can do as the smartest one is doing... But my question to the FanBox Team is.. How about if the number of people, say the majority, newbies, people not good in English literatures and language, do Categorize and Rate but not as smart as the smart people are doing, or as I am doing? Since they are the majority then, therefore, the algorithm will follow and will believe them, so pity I am... I had an observation that most old timers in FanBox are focused in ads and boosting because the money is here, and very few are doing C&R. So where are these smart people to give the edge of the smart? I suggest the FanBox team will also provide a team player dedicated to this to serve as a basis of all members doing C&R. I wish to hear more of your opinions and understandings my fellow bloggers.
