Great David. I hope this helped you. I know even for myself I often have to go back and really read something I thought I knew and I'll find something I haven't done, don't remember seeing or something and going step-by-step doing it according to the basics it begins to work! Awesome!

You've put a lot of thought into this Gerry and consideration towards everyone. But to be honest I'm not convinced yet that anyone of us knows how the algorithms works. Not that you've said that at all -but who decides who is brainy. I can tell there are lots of people giving 5* and probably 10's to posts I would never consider doing so. I even saw a top earner's post telling us to give 10's if the tag word related to the post. Nothing about whether the post was good. If more people like certain types of posts then perhaps if I or others rank it lower the algorithm decides we are not so good. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Gerry for your clear answer. You are absolutely right about mistakes we have made in the past. We have to check back and read JC's posts again and again to succeed here. It seems that 'Fanbox Algorithm is out of reach to understand.........

I have spent about 2 months of my time exploring the right methods which can possibly improve my CAR score and my earnings. but until now the result is still disappointing. I think I have to go back to the basic like your suggestion. Thank you Gerry.

As a teacher, Gerry, are you being asked why some FanBoxers are earning for posting new blogs while others known to be making 5 to 6 or more new blogs a day are not earning one penny for posting new blogs? I have been receiving numerous questions regarding this matter. I would love to hear your take on why this is.

There are a lot of things happening here in FanBox. Some used to earn big time in doing CAR, then in Boosting. But these past few days, I have observed the money is in Ads, earnings like $900 a day, $890 and so on.

You also have to remember the better you do in the other knowledge roles (ads, blogging, etc) the higher your cat/rate value and the better your earnings.
