Happy New You!

Here we are once again motivated by our New Year's resolutions- facing new experiences, new challenges, new growth, and determined to succeed.  Unfortunately for some of us, January's good intentions turn into July's distant memories!  You’re probably thinking "is it even worth the trouble, heartache, and pain to set goals for the New Year? After all, so many others have failed..."

True.  However, there is good news: according to research by John Norcross, a psychology professor at the University of Scranton (Pa.), 46 percent of people who make New Year's resolutions remain on track six months later.  Furthermore, those who make resolutions are ten times more likely to reach their goals than people with identical aims and comparable motivation who don't make resolutions, Norcross says.
