Time to start the diet again? TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger covers up in a billowing maxi dress as it’s claimed she’s regained 8lbs after letting strict diet slip

Lauren Goodger was spotted out and about in Essex today as friends told a magazine she was 'disappointed' to have regained 8lbs in her bid to return to a size 8.

The TOWIE star wore a leopard print maxi dress as she took a trip to her own salon for a stint in the chair with the rollers, giving her hair its trademark volume for a glam daytime look.

A source told Closer magazine how Lauren, 25, was considering returning to the drastic meal replacement shakes of the Cambridge diet to get ride of the unwanted pounds.

The source said: 'She's a size 12 now and says she's gained 8lbs, taking her to around 10st 10lbs - away from her target of a size 8.

'She said she's been trying to ignore it because she hates dieting, but she can now feel it going back on to her thighs and tummy.'
