PANAGBENGA -the blooming of flowers!

History
The Panagbenga Festival, formerly known as
the Baguio Flower Festival, was first formed
and chaired by Atty. Damaso Bangaoet Jr.
of the John Hay Poro Point Development
Corporation (JPDC), Victor A. Lim of the
Bases Conversion Development Authority
(BCDA) and the City Government Of Baguio.
Entries from the annual Camp John Hay
Nichol Sibug art contest gave its official logo:
a spray of SUNFLOWERS.

I wanna join this festival once in my life its my great wish:)
I greatly appreciate Aina, if you would someday and Every one is welcomed. This event festival is performed every year from the first day of February up to the first week of March. Many tourists from other countries are coming here for their vacations..
Nice info....one of the great festivities here in the philippines where we can see the beauties of all kinds of flowers blooms there in baguio hope i can go there ones again....love to see the parade of flowers... ....thanks for sharing Brod Eduard....truly proud to be pinoy.....

Marvelous photos ! I had attended seminars at BSU, several times, bu nit in time with the Panagbengga. It would have been a wonderful experience to be among those flowers! Indeed Baguio is a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for sharing.
