When we first get delivery of our shiny new computers, they tend to work faster than the preceding machine and give us a 'feel good' factor, since we can look forward to more productive use for both on line and off line needs.
It isn't very long however before we begin to notice that the boot time is getting longer and the applications seem to be slower than originally. Much of this slow down is due to the way in which all our data and applications are stored - almost always on the current SATA standard of Hard drives, which rely upon the traditional spinning disc platters to store information.Adult content and certain language are not permitted in premium blog posts.
