The teacher’s role is high in the progress of our country

Teacher opens the road and teaches to walk through that road.
 First of all, it depends on you how the spiritual image and way of thinking of a person, citizen will be.

You carry out your mission with dignity and humbly, because you realize that you have chosen a path, which you will never refuse irrespective of any difficulty, because the teacher is a vocation, but not a specialty.
Armenian people always highly appreciated the teacher and bowed down before his/her achievements. Today the teacher's role is high in the progress of our country.

Education is or not the key for the progress? That’s a key question.

Better teacher training in developed countries is the key for progress?

         If we look at the *reality* of developing countries, of course a better teacher training is not a key for progress. Unfortunately, although teachers are one of the most important figures in a nation life as well as in children’s, after the parents, and education is also essential for the development of children personality, who are the citizens of tomorrow.

However, teachers cannot change the world if governments move in the opposite direction. And not only national governs are responsible for the status of their countries, but the international political situation as a whole influences each individual country and its choices. We cannot believe in separate pieces of lands with different flags on them as if they were autonomous galaxies.

         To a country’s progress, if by progress we understand a nation’s level of civility, knowledge, consciousness and material comfort, the media should be aligned with the best values education aims to. Since children are so influenced by TV, we don’t want to reply the same schizophrenia we live today in all the countries: where what you learn at school has little to do with what you get from the mass media.
