being used as vegetables in Africa, Middle East, and South
East Asia. Besides, it is also used as herbal medicine to control 
or prevent dysentery, worm, constipation and others.

What is the layman's term for Corchorus or Jute? the pictures look like malokia or saluyot. Yes, there are several health benefits of this plant. Nice share.
