The Adventures of Tintin film, starring British actor famous for running on cinema across the UK on Wednesday (25/10). Story book heroes that have a tuft sold ten million copies have been given new life.

The Sun's exclusive interview with the legend of film and producer of The Adventures of Tintin, Steven Spielberg, expressing love for his family on the classic story Tintin and the reason for choosing English playwright series, Dr Who, to move the work of Herge's books to the big screen.

Spielberg (64), father of seven children consisting of two men, two women, one stepdaughter and two adopted children, male and female, said his children think he has grasped the success.

"My kids are fans of Tintin since I first brought it to the house in 1981 and my first child, Max, was born in 1985," said Spielberg.

"They grew up with stories from the book. We get it in England where the book was published in English and since then they love Tintin, "he said. "Children are the first audience of the film and they loved it," said Spielberg.
