British actress Kate Beckinsale has been in the acting business since she was a toddler and now her career is about as smoking hot as she is. Kate’s movie, Contraband starring Mark Walhberg, was released last week and now her new movie Underworld: Awakening – a sequel to the franchise that catapulted her to A-list stature — opens today.

Kate reprises her role in Underworld: Awakening, and the film description reads: “When human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrioress Selene leads the battle against humankind.” Rotten Tomatoes audiences are giving the film a 92%, with one reviewer saying, “Storytelling is a little stiff, other than that, Selene will kick your ass!”
