Try these tips to become an expert in bargaining and get your product at your price.

1. Do your research before bargaining for an item. Compare prices among various shops. Try to obtain fair market value for items you are interested in buying; since government emporiums in India have fixed prices, you can start your research there.

2. Decide on the exact item you want to purchase. Focus your bargaining on that item, without letting the shopkeeper know how much you like it. Conceal the depth of your interest, and pretend

These are some really good tips Jake. Unfortunately the only chances of bargaining in the UK are at car boot sales and impromptu markets. Or if an item in a store is already damaged...
It's the problem with having chains of stores, everyone has to pay the same price...
But I'll definitely try these tips the next time I'm at a market
