Yes, Colin..they are deadly if in enough numbers..they bite you and their poison can kill you if your stung/bit by enough of them. Very scary is a the fire ant we have the in parts here and they are killed quickly when found.

YEP @colin , I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE SPECIES OF ANTS THAT MAKES THIS TYPES OF TROUBLE TO HUMAN.... LORRI IS ALSO RIGHT..THEY CAN KILL YOU WITH THEIR NUMBERS....
