Though I like to point out, am not the one working but my husband, am just a dependent wife here, and am staying with him. Before, all the kids were here with us (and since birth), but after high sch graduation (2010, 2009, and 2006) had to move in Pinas to pursue their college education. I just visit them 2x - 4x a year, and they visit us 2x a year, as well.

@ Jen.....thank you ...yes, this coming summer break we'll be together again, from March to June, 2012. Then, maybe on semestral break this October.....and finally on holiday break, Dec....the cycle is just continuous.

It's always sad to be separated from our loved ones - but the happy part is that you are not apart forever and it is only a temporary situation and before you know it Ophie, you will be together again and not be separated any longer. Being separated also makes you appreciate each other even more and not take each other for granted! Thanks for sharing your personal thoughts my friend! :D

separation anxiety ... mothers always experience this ... i also had my share of SA my boy is studying in a city which is about 2 hours plane ride from the city we reside ... painful but it comes with a reward because the boys who are completing education are preparing for their future ... own the pain for now .. wish you are well now =)
