You have made me think whether my life is that worthy or not? These festivals and functions are not for the joy and show off of only few people ..the real motive and meaning of such festival is what you have mentioned...ie try to make that people happy who is not in as better situation as you are..But we are being so selfish day by day .nice post thanks

Arun, : we are eating every day good meal, and we trying to eat more and better on X'mas day, while many are in hunger, in cold, and feeling there is no hope. We can never feel real happiness, while there are many suffering. I feel shame of being selfish. xxx

Don't feel shame because you are aware of such people , you must have seen such people ..and tht is why time to time you think of such people .it is itself ok..for a person like you..at least you know the real happiness if cant achieve that.. there are many people in this world in fact most of the people in this world are running after materialistic stuffs and they think that is happiness.
You shouldn't feel shame ..because you remember those people because you are aware of the fact that there are that kind of world as well existing where people who looks same as us dont get even one time food to survive..bless you.

Why do people feel that they must be kind to others, take care of others, etc. at only one time of year? The spirit of helping others should be all the time! Have a wonderful day! :)
