My FanBox Experience By May Ram

i have same problem in my PC. But in my laptop with same software i don't have any problem.
Every time when i tried to open my dashboard's sections my firefox ask you are going to lose you information... you want to stop or want to proceed anyway.
But i trusted FanBox and proceeded anyway.
May be this is because of some sort of virus in my PC.

As JC said in his commemts on his post, fanbox has sent someone to fix with McAfee. Now everything is ok with McAfee. I am so cautious with my pc's

i HAVE AVAST ANTI-VIRUS AND ITS VERY SECURE..AVAST PROTECT MY PC. BUT IS VERY GOOD YOU SAID THAT THANKS FOR THIS POST

Very nice post and I agree we should be more patient. As I open my fanbox today it is down as what Mr. JC told us in one of his blogs but the good news is I was able to write/compose two blog post while waiting.
Patient, understanding and self-improvement is always a virtue that we should have. Nice music, it has calm effect.

I used to have all kinds of prblems with viruses in the past, till I started using AVAST, and well so far so good viruses is a thing of the past, I've used all kinds of anti virises in the past, Kaspersky is good and well to be honest I don't know much about Mc Afee but is supposed to be very good, so if they say there's a threat of virus might as well make sure your computer is not infected, because viruses could be anywere.

....everything will be alright.....
I agree with u with such team of FanBox
I like to believe on ...everything will be allright.. .in every trouble in my life and it is helping me to relax and think well till I solve my trouble.

Me too Rodrigo, in jan 2008, I got trouble with vruses and lost all datas. Since then I don't use any of free anti-virus, and bought McAfee total protection for 3 users, so that at home all pc's are saved. It's about 100 euro per year, and every year changing the price (high). But my all pc's are protected now. It works great. But as Greg said, may be too over protected...thanks.

well maybe is problem because Fanbox always (in my laptop), automatically, wants to access my gmail contacts. This function should be removed because in clear definition is treated as spam.

It sometimes happens, the virus scanner classified a site as dangerous without any reason. Sometimes this message disappear after a few days. Therefore, do not blindly trust a message no matter where it comes from. Check for yourself what it is about.

Always remember rule #1 May...don't panic ; ]

Since I have joined fanbox at least my pc set up never had any problem with fanbox , in fact i realise some time that other sites are taking time but fanbox is quicker (my experience with chrome) , site problems are different problem but i have never faced any safety problem while using fanbox on my pc ever.
To me it is as safe as any other popular site ..

Good point Arun, I was gonna say something similar. Could happen anywhere...A good reminde, stay safe and keep your anti-virus up to date! also get any windows security updates would be good advice as well...good day
