I love noodles but I don't take it regularly knowing how unhealthy it is. Also it is better to make your own fresh noodles at home than the dried ones.
You can also use wheat instead of all purpose flour for noodles.

When I was a kid, my Yaya usually cook noodles as our breakfast and snack. I'm not fond of eating it. Now, I usually add moringa leaves and egg on my soup during rainy days. But still very seldom I eat noodles. I feel weak when I consume it. I don't include the oil when cooking. Only the powder for flavoring. Thanks for sharing Aliah! Excellent post. c",)

noodle is indeed unhealthy because it cannot be digested easily by the system, therefore stay longer in your stomach before it will be used by the body
Hi Limey thank you for sharing valuable thoughts here, yes noodles are a processed food and also considered as junk food However if noodles are eaten in proper portions it is not harmful. Secondly you should consider with what ingredients the noodles are made up of.

Yes this is outcome of today's lifestyle. Moms and dads are too much engaged in their business and they have no time for food preparation. Many medical reports shows noodles is certainly unhealthy. But because it is easy to cook,fast and kids,young generation like the taste, we ignore the reports. It is acceptable occasionally and as you said with proper preparation.
Ashok,thank you for sharing your wonderful insights.It is very much appreciated,yes its true but as what Candyz mention above we can add egg and some healthy veggies in every bowl of noodles we prepared.

Instant noodle seem to be very popular as a quickie food especially with the youngsters. They are not only cheap but easily available in abundance. Yes I do agree with you that they are not healthy as it was normally not prepared properly with added healthy ingredients and toppings.
