This book, a collection of 100 of my poems was published in November 2010 and has been on sale through Amazon and many other on-line suppliers since then in both paperback and eBook formats.

Nice one,thanks for sharing.....
Thank you for commenting Rose :) Best wishes, Dave.
Hi Edward - I don't own a Kindle myself, so it is hard to comment on that brand, other than to say it appears to have a very readable screen. Personally I bought a Sony eReader a couple of years ago - it can read most epublication formats and allows notes, etc to be made while you are reading - plus you can also use it to play MP3tracks, so for me it makes an ideal travelling companion.
Loads of classic literature can be dowloaded for free - Dickens, Wilde, Shakespeare, etc, are amongst the thousands of free books available online. Of course I have my own ebooks on my device - I use it to help me develop the final layouts before publication.
As to cost, yes the eBook versions of many books are very affordable - often around half the cost of the paperbacks, but there is too much variation to be precise.
One thing I would caution people about eBooks - many of those that were written purely for ePublication are rather short compared to traditional books, so although they can seem a bargain at first sight, I like to check just how many pages they have when judging value for money.
Best wishes, Dave
wow. you are great writer.... nice job
Thanks Dave - I'm hoping to get the second collection of poems out before the end of the year, though I may have to settle for the eBook format being ready first, a growing tendency amongst publishers....
Best wishes, Dave
Thanks Dave,it's a wonderful job done.Putting up this kind of collection needs lots of sacrifice.
Thanks for commenting Emma - probably not a lot of sacrifice involved, just a bit of time trawling through to select which to include. :) Best wishes, Dave
