Let's be just friends

I'm taken.  Let's be just friends or would you be my part time lover?

"Let's just be friends" is a nice way to tell someone that you're not attracted, so not attracted to them that you can't even imagine yourself on a date with him/her.  "Let’s just be friends.”, "I do not have any FEELINGS for you!”; hurtful words for anyone to hear.  But it is necessary.  It might be better to reject someone in a more direct way so that someone won’t be wasting time wondering if there might be still some slight hope.

Maybe you should just say "I don't like you.  You annoy me and you'll never have sex with me no matter what." or "Don't bother me anymore and go get a life",would be better.  Seems cruel but it is better and more humane than pussyfooting around.  Most people often don’t have the guts to come right out and say it, but by trying to spare the feelings of both parties probably making matters worse.
