Great article Rich Rich. Is that your real name or pseudo-name? I love watercress and for the fanbox community information - watercress is one of several very unique vegetable plants because it provides two(2) distinct contributions - depending on how long the soup is bolied. I have something similar covered elsewhere and will post it BUT as part of my motto, i will tone down'remove that which has been covered and complement by linking to Rich Rich article post. Before I end, one food for thought - if you wish to enjoy the therapeutic goodness of "cooling' for the body heat, we Chinese will boil it for a about two hours (depending on your stove size, flame and heat), enough to bring out the aroma to know it's just right and drink it after it's cool (you can drink ot when hot as well). However, it you boil it for more than 4 hours, the watercress metabolises annsd changes colour - exactly what RIch's article showed above - you may lose the antioxidants (true) but you get the otjher goodness of watercress which only comes out with such boiling and it invigorates the immunity and general health for the body. Ask your Mums and they will tell you. Thanks for the post, Rich. Great article.
You most welcome , thanks for the great tips . Yes my mum do slow boil watercress for several hours , and it really nice . I love it so much , but not always market here selling .....My much appreciated ...^_^....
Yeah, was one of my favourites during my schooling days. By the way, are you Asian becuase this is a real Asian cantonese soup. We cantonese have a lot of soupy and gravy fry stuff unlike other dialect kin.
Yes indeed i am a Cantonese , my mum too always cook for me when i was young too ...
I love this soup so much , now i always cook myself for my family ...
Nice to have hot season ...^_^....
Wah liau, you cook for your family...how adorable, ...^o^.... Since we have just gor acquainted and I am your "fan", may I know your real cantonese name instead of your pseudo Rich Rich? I like to deal with real people lol.
Is okay , we all real people ...
Upload a picture of your , thanks ...
Thank you so much my lovely beautiful friends and fans here for all the great comments ..GOOD LUCK ...^_^....
