Why do some people act unlovable? The answer is fear! Someone or something has hurt them. They have been ignored or abused in some way. Their response is to keep people from hurting them again. So what do we do, we reject them instead of loving them. This is not the correct response and only makes matters worst.

Recognize abuse. Abuse is ill treatment toward another person. That person reacts toward that kind of treatment and becomes defensive and acts out.
Try not to react to them. If they are angry becoming angry at them will not help the situation. Getting angry at someone who is afraid is not the loving response.
