Nice post, maybe it can help you see this subject from Muslim way, we believe he die and god up his soul to heaven and the one who die in cross was not Jesus but a man look like him. if you want to read more about this you can look to my post about the same subject in this link
http://posts.fanbox.com/5x7f4
plz write me your opinion about this subject and what you think......
This article is very intresting.
What you write in there is very complex.
I realy like your post!
There were hundreds of witnesses to the crucifixion of Christ, it is a historical fact Jesus Christ was crucified as well as there being history of what the Roman practice of Crucifixion involved.
There were also witnesses to his being removed from the Cross. Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for Jesus body to place his family tomb, had it not truly been Jesus there would have been a riot.
The Roman guards would not logically have been placed to guard the tomb of a "Jesus look a like" nor would they have been so worried that when Jesus said he would rise from the grave in three days it might happen.
The crosses were in plain view of all who witnessed this form of death by the Romans, not to mention people who were crucified were without any covering so it would have been impossible to have someone that looked enough like Jesus on the cross to fool all those who watched him being nailed to the cross or hanging there all the time he was there before he finally gave up his spirit.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Jesus could still be alive. He was ablle to raise the dead. His body was missing from the tomb. And he was seen. That for sure was him on the cross. It was what he wanted. He said that there is no greater thing that you can do then giving up your life for the people. That was where none of his followers would dare to follow. If they did, they would have been with him now.
Amen Arthur :-)
Jesus did die for all on the cross but he rose from the grave as well. I believe he died there that day but didn't stay down long. Thanks for the share.
jesus lives
Thank you :-)
thanks nice post
This goes into deepth what happen , some people may not like it . But its what happen not easy way die , very painful .
Surely Jesus died. . He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. Nice piece my dear Cindy
Amen,,,,,,, He was made to BE SIN on the cross ,,,, so that we can be the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD In Him (2 cor 5)
Thank you Sweet Alezee, Russ, jose and Giovanni. Jesus is our righteousness...thank you Lord! :-)
I actually saw a documentary about how much Jesus suffered in the Discovery Channel (of all places). They explained all the stuff you mentioned above in scientific terms and how painful it was. They even examined the Shroud of Turin and it coincided with all the injuries described in the Bible.
Awesome post!
Thank you Miss Joyous life. It is incredible to me that anyone would suffer that kind of torment for me and everyone else out of love. :-)
good this is right .i like it.
Thank you rameez. :-)
i 've read a lot of articles about this topics, all kinds of investigations only lead to one place " truth" it is just a persons perception that may put him in any comfortable conclusion, but in the end i will say, The man we convinced againts his will is at the same opinion still. Follow your heart folks!!
God bless you for this post. Keep on shouting out the truth, everyone needs to hear about it, whether they believe it or not but I believe somehow, some may be saved by the hearing of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That video was exceptional. Shalom.
Thank you Nana, I will keep doing so. God bless you also. :-)
I like this Post. It is really true. What you have written is quite inspiring and touching. No one should suffer like this. Jesus died for our sins. The biggest truth is that, he rose again from the dead
Thank you Lawrence, it is truth it is the fact he rose from the dead that is the best news :-)
excellent post. There is o doubt that what you said is true
Amen Richard :-)
Great post dont get discouraged if everybody dosent agree its like a seed sown in the ground and one day after the seed dies it produces life .
Thank you Bob, I was just telling a loved one that very thing. :-)
your welcome and keep up the good work!
Very Nice Post.
VERY well-written post.Given the author's great deal of obviously extensive knowledge in a medical field as well as in history,i believe, should really help the better understanding of what kind of Holy Sacrifice that was.Not only did the Lord died for us,but He accepted this kind of torture and eventually death willfully and intentionally.Accepted that from the SINNERS.Yet,He was absolutely INNOCENT.But,after all,He rose from that cross.Christ has risen!
I absolutely agree with Bob,one day after the seed dies,it gives LIFE
very good post
Thank you EVERYONE that has commented.I am so sorry I have not responded before now! Every comment is appreciated. Amen Ray!
nice post. thanks for sharing this.
Godbless. :)
I believe in everything that has been written in the bible, therefore, I believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose from the dead after 3 days. It is in believing that our faith is being strengthened. It was because of His sufferings that all mankind had been saved from sin. Jesus has two natures, divine and human. His divine nature is eternal and was never created. His human nature is mortal, and was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. Christ died on the cross to do the will of God the Father, to save all mankind from their sins.
I love your post Congresswomen Cindy.
