This world is full of challenges. We are like vehicles running on a bumpy road. We all experience difficulties, we never know what will happen as we go on with our life. Just like Overseas Filipino Worker Joan Bacayo, who at the age of twenty-three, has experienced going to Japan.
Contrary to the usual thinking, working abroad was not easy for Joan. She had encountered the unfairness of life even before she went to Japan. Fate played with her, when she was able to pass the travel requirements only on the second try. A month before the flight, her mother stopped her from going abroad but she had her mind already fixed. It was a month of arguing with her, the topic always the same. She really did not want her to go.
When the exact moment came, she stood up on what she had decided - she proceeded with her plan.

I know how it feels. I am now here in Korea for one year and seven months. It's so hard to be away from ur family and to live in a foreign country. But I totally agree with you..God and ur confidence will help you to make it through. Thanks to God and for my Filipina friends here..being away from home had not been that difficult anymore. ^^
