Bethany Hamilton (AnnaSophia Robb), a young girl who is very talented surfer. Everybody believes that future is beautiful, and powerful he can become champion. However, fate intervenes, and on one occasion her horrific shark attack. Parents (Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid) is immediately taken to the hospital, but unfortunately she still loses his entire left arm. The tragedy that hit him and his whole family, but Bethany did not give up and decide to have one arm is back to the board and start the World Cup.
