There are many components of a good kiss. It's all part of a package. Attractive pouty lips are certainly an asset. Scent is also a major draw ---fresh smelling breath and just a tad of perfume mixed with the right natural body scent. I have read that pheromones are instantly produced when a person is attracted to another.
There must also be physical and mental attraction. When all these are combined along with the eyes that say "I want to be kissed-BY YOU!"---Watch out! A passionate kiss can be as stimulating and as draining as sex. An interesting item to add here is that pheromones are also instantly produced in saliva thus producing an aphrodesiac affect which oftentimes leads to more than just a kiss.
