Do you have a fond memory of your father?
I don't have many memories of my father. I do remember when I was young he and my mother would come in and kiss us goodnight. Other then that i don't have many memories. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

i love my father
Very beautiful story
It is beautifully sketched portrait of your
father, where worked hard for you to be happy, that you can laugh.
Happy moments happened with parents in early childhood, we are strong in adult life.
@ Carmen: I agree...there's something about viewing your father from a child's eyes rather than seeing him through your adult eyes...the memory is more sacred...
Good post in honour of Dad . We all should have many good one's . Mine is the camping trip's about every weekend . May thats way live back in woods now so peaceful beauitful .
i agree with u Arlene
when some one so dear to us passed away , we have only memories which we complete our life with it
nice sharing , thank u
of course father`s role in the family and as a head gives vital memories that provide lessons from his children wether good or bad example to his family members.nice post...
Nice Story Arlene. Thanks for Sharing. I like it.
Thanks for sharing those precious memories with us. My memories of my biological father are so few, but I do remember older relatives saying that if he'd have lived longer, he would have spoiled me a lot. One memory I have of him was early one evening, I was probably about three year's old, when I wanted to go outside with my dad, and my mom didn't want me to, because the weather was not perfect. I think there was a light drizzle of rain at the time. But dad decided I could go out with him and I remember vaguely his holding me in his strong arms. The only other memory I have of him is his leaving one night to go to my grandmother's house across the street and never seeing him again after that. He's had a stroke and went into the hospital that night, and I don't remember any more than that.
Thanks for sharing your memories about your Dad. My Father always took time to share life with
me even Know we did not live together. And the end he would still come and see me on sundays
I,d be waking up after working in my Garage all week and it would be a mess, with ext cords
would
be all tangle together and he would yell and scream at me, But after having my coffee I would come
out and he would have all my cords fixed and hung up in there place.
Those are my dreams of him now.
Nice post sharing Arlene I still love my father even he is passed away
