nice story
HAPPENING OF LIFE.
Great post arlene! It reminded me of my childhood bestfriend, whom I haven't seen in a while. And now she's back and we are total strangers. I felt hurt, at first, but I realized that I am surrounded with many wonderful people,to whom I should be more grateful with of having. :-)
@ Arimaj: We sometimes grow apart from those we love and care about...so cherish the friendships you currently do have and make sure you nurture each of these relationships...
nice story Arlene. it's very true friendships come and go and then you make new ones that can last a lifetime.
wow really nice post keep posting

Awesome story All Arlene. great share thank you my friend
yes childhood memories is one of the most unforgettable moments, but life must go on we had to grow and embrace our the path we choose...
Yeah, time to move on and nurture the one you have now. Speaking of which...when do you want to get together again? :)
Very nice post for friendship love it Thanks for shearing
@ Romel: Yes, life does go on...I agree with you we must embrace what life has to offer and the path we choose for ourselves...

aww I can so relate to this post....my childhood friend and I are still friends, but we did grow apart and are on two totaly different paths, and its hard for us to relate, so we don't talk much anymore even though we did live in the same city after a while....anyways!! awesome post =)

@ Sade: Thank you for your comment. Yes, sometimes the very best friends we had as kids are the ones we grow apart from the most...it's a shame, but it's part of life...
sometimes it works out the other way i am still friends with some of the people i grew up with. jeannieand me were friends since we were able to go outside and play, went to school together.
beautiful one there, Arlene, indeed our childhood friends end as soon as we relocate and start having other friends.
I share the same sentiments with you.

very nice post thanks for sharing,,,
I lost a friend, when he married. His wife somehow did not like us, who knows why?
I still think about him once in a while. With a little regret that we did not manage to stay friends even though we are far appart (He used to live in Bournemouth on the English coast)
But i have another good friend that i managed to keep, even though he lives in London;
Anyway, if i may say, even though it's only"pen" for the moment, i hope you count me as your friend, my dear. Because, me, i do!
