No Lunch For Arlene

by Power User * Arlene * on September 25, 2011

Thinking back to my childhood I can remember an incident which at the time I thought nothing of, but as an adult I find the memory to be rather embarrassing and yet touching at the same time; it did change the way I now view the world.

You honor me. I enter Fanbox with the same attitude and mentality. If I don't make a dime myself here as long as I've helped instead of harmed someone He_God will always provide. All of the Fanbox leaderboarders possess an Blessed talent to convey and should be looked to as shining examples to educate. You are truly gifted and I honor you. Excellent post. Continued earned success and Bless.

Your story was nice and fun to read. It is fun to hear about the things people do to help others. I have done some similar things in life and have had other do kind things for me. One day I was going through the Mac Donald's drive through and when I went to pay, the person who had just drove through ahead of me had payed for my food. My first thought was, who is that person anyway, did I know them because I did not recognize them...I was very grateful because that day I had dug through the bottom of my purse to find enough money to pay because I was low on cash. A few days later I was listening to the radio and someone announced it was pay it forward day. That started me thinking what could I do. So I went back to the same Mac Donald's where the person in from of me had paid for my food and I paid for the guy's meal behind me when I paid for mine. I Looked in my rear view mirror and I could see the confusion on the guys face behind me when they told him he did not own any money. I just felt good and knew I had made that guy day!
