Week 1 of the Single Life

This has been a very interesting week. Unpredictable. I think part of it was due to this week being the first week that I let myself be single again. It's been a month now since my ex and I broke up but I was holding on. This week I let go a little more. I let myself have some fun, be entertained, and distracted by company. I went to the beach twice this week. Once at night and once during the day. The time I went at night, I had a lot of fun with the company I had. But I did think about my ex. One of the reasons he used to give for not taking me anywhere is because he was always broke. But while I was at the beach enjoying the waves and the moonlight, I realized that was just an excuse for the kind of man he was. Going to the beach that night was free, as well as a lot of other activities we could've enjoyed together. Could've.

You're doing the right thing by getting yourself out there. Just have fun remember who you were before you were with him. Lastly look at the lessons you have learned from that relationship. You deserve to be able to go out, there are so many things that can be done that don't cost a dime. At least he inspired you, maybe you will have a hit song on your hands now :-)

YEAH!! Good for you Rose! I'm glad you found some comfort in your friends and therapy through your music. This too shall pass girl, and when it does you're a better and stronger woman. Well seasoned for the next VERY lucky guy! But you're right..take your sweet time and enjoy yourself.
