I agree completely. Someone who has taken the time to learn FanBox, has a passion for teaching others and wants to be compensated for their time for doing so shouldn't be slammed because they also happen to be an SC.

Thanks for clearing the air Arlene. However, I feel as a community that we should be allowed to discuss things openly within the community. If you had read the comments being left by those visiting my post you can see this for yourself!

If it is considered to be stirring up drama because one ask for an opinion that you do not agree with personally with, I am sorry you feel this way. I respect you as a friend and also as a community member.

As far as I know this is a free market or at least as free as it can be with all the laws about. I really don't think that we need to be chasing down any other ways to limit the way we can all make money. Besides with everything we are doing to help the community if we can find the time get a little extra in on the side it shouldn't be a problem to make a little extra money in the process.

I think you hit the nail on the head, I mean if a Success Coach isn't allowed to earn extra for their own personal time for something they do for free, then none of the bloggers here should be able to do premium blogs because blogs are free. So authors shouldn't charge for their books because all knowledge should be free right? What about the members of the community that have learned from their Success Coaches, are they allowed to use the knowledge they gained from their coach to earn but the coaches themselves aren't allowed to earn from knowledge they gave away? I mean okay lets limit it but where does it stop?

Instead lets be a positive force as Arlene has stated and focus on the good things and what this site was build for!! :-)

Apart from this posting, i might not withdraw to join actively in a Fanbox blogging, for instance, perhaphs owing to more or less responsiveness of computering operation everywhere if applicable , even logging in as with one's yahoo co.kr's privately used id., in land, for example, as with a routinized and quickest motion, originally not logging in but showing in a red coloured charcters below of the Fanbox bracked column implying 'an invalid id or/and password' soas to let unconciously a certain member living in land of south Korea, for instance, lose a minor part of one's confidence and/or positive approaches toward the next steps, far from money($) earned for a contribution or/and cashing out, if any, which seem either vague or excluded from the outset. It's not untrue to remark in such a way but mingt be apt to be contrary to 'in vain' because of luckily enhanced chances to actively joining in such and such simple positing, uploading photos/pictures etc. in a Fanbox IT channel to be estimated as one of the excellent levels in the world or on a global basis altogether. But I did'nt know still what is my point of some private questions to solve easily whether in the past or in future, I still wonder how to do or act in this regard due to a general vagueness on my part, if any, possibly to be considered still questionalbe or difficult to understand for myself. This kind of comment might dismiss me too herein. 'hm'

Nothing is happening :-) you get your Success Coach at no charge to you :-) Arlene was pointing out and we were all agreeing that it is okay for an SC to use the products and services :-) If you have a coach rest assured that they are helping you in every way possible :-) They are sharing all their knowledge with you because they want you to Succeed :-) your coach would never do anything to hinder that. But there are SCs that have posted their time as a service in products and services, they have created books on how they Succeeded they have used the premium blog service and we were just saying that its okay for a Success Coach to do that because these are things they are doing and creating during their own time aside from being a coach :-)

It's stupid to charge your trainings to your students,
since you already earning from them.
It's not fair, if you don't want to coach anyone you don't have to, but don't charge them even if you are earning from them
It's ok to charge someone else, who has nothing to do with you.
But people are to selfish to help each other for free. Most people just think how to put money in pocket

@ Michael: Thank you for your comment, and although I have no issues about people expressing their opinions---because everyone is entitled to them---I just don't think people attacking each other through vicious and uncalled for comments is right. I just think everyone needs to be more civil to each other.
And so with this post, I am expressing my own opinion to your question, whether you agree with it or not =)

@ Milan: This post isn't about charging training to your students. It's about charging people for your time for a one on one discussion through Products & Services, and has nothing to do with being greedy or selfish. Success coaches are still assisting their clients for free, but why shouldn't they have the ability to offer one on one coaching packages on their own time outside of FanBox?

Well, i have a tendancy to agree with you, it is entirely up to the one who will want to buy the 'product' or the 'service', like in any market, starting with the financial markets of the world, for example.

In my humble opinion, how we spend my own time is our own business as long as we take and fulfill our responsibility as a SC for each and everyone of our clients.

and i think its not also bad to sell our own as well as buying other's product...

Well-stated Arlene. There will always be people who try to find something negative, no matter what's done, and it's hard to please everyone; thank God for the positive people who also voice their opinions, and even express gratitude from from time-to-time.

ufff...a lot of discussion here about...nothing...I think. I can offer a private coaching, too, if somebody wants, but who will take coaching from me if I'm not qualified. Success Coaches are qualified for that and if they want to earn something from products and/or services ok for me, who cares.....all in all...everything here is about money and time ;)

Arlene i agree with you the coaches should be able to charge if someone wants extra time. You coaches do so much to help us and you do have alot on your plates. so you should be able to charge if someone wants extra. Thank you for explaining it better though.

thanks for the post well i guess everyone have been given a fair part on fanbox. And those little time extra time for other SC who wants them paid for coaching i guess it should be discussed by the board and leaders here if it is aloud to SC's privately paid for a special service.

If we are to say that a Success Coach should not be allowed to offer personalized information, more direct information, or any specialized tools of learning to be more successful because they would already make earnings from clients, then there are two things we must look at and take into consideration.
#1 Not all clients are responsive. No matter how much time the SC spends trying to get their attention to help them, they stay unresponsive. So the SC keeps spending time without result. If the SC offers some package in in products and services, that unresponsive client is more than likely not going to purchase it. If that client will not even take the free information and advice, what makes anyone think the SC is making earnings off of a client who should be getting free information? No. the SC is still not making any earnings from that client. Also, the SC is able to spread his information to more people than only his personal clients. It is not charging his clients for information, it is offering his "Knowledge" to anyone and everyone with intent to earn from his time spent gaining and offering that knowledge. It was the whole idea of making money from "Knowledge" that any of you are making posts and making ads and watching for earnings to grow.

#2 The idea of SC's shouldn't be able to earn from their knowledge in products and services, simply equates to saying that anyone offering knowledge in products and services should no longer be allowed to do so. Why? They could have just put it in a post for everyone to see. They have no right to earn more from the information than they would have earned from people coming to read it in a post. Wrote a story? Sorry, not right for you to offer it in a package in products and services, because you should not get anything for your time. Put it in a post for everyone to see for free. You will make the earnings you deserve there. Collected recipes for diabetics? No products and services package for you, put it in a post. Beauty tips? Put it in a post. Only offer tangible items in products and services.

#1 Is the way a Free Enterprise Market System is run. The SC will not gain from every client. Some clients will actually be hurting him with being so unresponsive.

#2 is just silly. Do you think a Professor spent years gaining his knowledge and went to a University to give it away for free? No, I don't think so, or it would be free to walk into any University and learn, but it's far from free.

This is a Free Enterprise Market System, and that is how Free Markets are run. Free also meaning that you are not required to purchase what another offers. But maybe the person next to you would be more than happy to purchase it. Where is the problem in that?

Your points are OK,Arlene.Since this project is optional it should not raise eyebrows at all and whatever discussions or discourse generated should be mutual.Therefore,the new product should be allowed for time to see it through to success.
