great post
Ahem.... I have several clients asking ridiculous prices for things. All I can say is, "Let Me Know How That Works Out For You". As people seem to be greedy and not really understanding what FanBox is attempting to accomplish for the community.
Products and Services is another avenue to generate revenue for our members, within realistic realms.
nice post
nice post
nic post
Thanks for advising to be realistic in pricing products and services.
nice i definitely agree
Good thoughts to share Arlene! Yes....some products/services are a bit too much and it certainly needs to be voiced and the word needs to get out there so that people are aware of what the price standard should be set at. I'm just thinking that it might be a good idea to have some sort of list to set the pricing at. Although Craig's List doesn't, but it does have a guideline, not to set the price above the value of the item. Some people may set their price at bit more, but if it's a blog or post that time is well spent in developing, then it's understandable, but $100 for a blog, now that's a bit much! lol Not too many people would be willing to fork that much money out! :D
People need to realize that throwing out random numbers to charge doesn't do anyone any good. Do some research and find out what your competitors are charging. Thanks everyone for the comments and the input...
yes, we have to think realistic of our blog.
very true.....nicely written and well explain....thanks Arlene
So glad you wrote this Arlene! I have seen so many very weird and very unrealistic pricing as well as products people are putting up to sell that make no sense, are inappropriate or just plain silly! Great job!
nice work :)
Thank you Arlene. As always you are a fantastic leader and this needed to be said. You said it wonderfully, with sensitivity and the care to give constructive suggestion. Kudos! This is why she's on top folks. Learn from the best!
Good sharing and advice, thanks.

no one is clean except few
for us beginners actually we are not interested with those products that are so much expensive...
its very hard for us to earn our 1$ and tried buying product that only contains porn pictures..
i thinks that not wise enough to do... hahaha
great sharing Arlene thank you for the advice and the insight here.
Well said Arlene - I'm 100% behind your thoughts on this! Best wishes, Dave
I agree to a point. I feel that if you think that a product or service is high priced you should advise your client to lower the price a bit knowing FanBox marks it up a little. I also feel that if they don't change it you should buy one of their products as a pay it forward type of thing and it may encourage them to list more things or buy something from someone else.
nice post
hehe, well, ridiculous as it is but there are also many people who are ridiculous. why do you think people get dupe - because no matter how ridiculous the offers are there are always ridiculous people to bite them...
nice
Good advice ... Arlene!

I have seen bloggers selling the same blogs they made before as a Premium Blog Package in Products & Services. Most of them are lessons most Success Coaches give for free. Also I have seen blog without original content being sold as P&S.
