why do we pray ? what if you do't pray, when everything depends on.. your karma, who is god-he is not a santa . so when we pray iI think we enrich our own energy, what do you say?-hi
Human tendency is to look upward and considers anyone more powerful as important, God like. God is within, we do not have to search elsewhere. The temples, Churches etc are for concentration/ looking inwards purpose. To understand this one has to look into the philosophies of all religions. You may not believe in a God but you do believe in goodness, truth, positive approach to life. These acts cut your karma. We come down to earth to learn our lessons. It is how we face situations that our lessons are learnt or need to be learnt again. When our lessons are learnt, we move upwards on our spiritual path as enlightened beings. It is a long process and may pass many lives.
