I know exactly what you mean. I realized once upon a time that many people around me were toxic. Including a number of people I share DNA with. So I had a big "If you're not good for me -you're gone from me" event and my life has been MUCH happier and drama free since then :)
you make friends and you lose friends part of life people need to get over it...true friends are the ones that won't back stabb you or talk behind your back...good post

some good correlations here comparing friends to flowers and weeds, i love the idea of a friendship garden. nice post. gotta agree with what you said in it too.
Thank you Glenway! I just feel that with any type of relationship that one gets into it should be nurtured amd treated kindly and with respect from both sides. Its a give and take kind of thing. One person shouldnt be the only one thats giving or receiving.
Life is too short to have those people around! It's time for spring cleaning of friends! Weed them out because who needs them! Friends should respect each other, be loyal, watch out for each others' back, are kind, do not gossip or stab each other in the back! Like they say, with friends like that, who needs enemies? It's definitely a give and take Tara and shouldn't be one sided - that's taking advantage of someone for sure!
Thank you Jan I agree my life has changed since then i have managed to slowly but surely weed those kinds of people out of my life and accept nothing but positive people that i know I can count on into my life.
